The concept behind the Brillion Sure Stand Agricultural Seeders has not changed since 1948. Brillion seeders precisely meter a given seed variety at a consistent seed placement depth to achieve the best germination rates possible.

THE SURE STAND CONCEPT
The Brillion Sure Stand concept has survived the test of time and the challenges from many competitors and many different seeding methods. However, the simplicity of the Sure Stand concept is still the best way to seed legumes and grasses efficiently. The larger front notched roller firms the seedbed and places shallow indentations into the soil surface. The seed is metered from the seed boxes to free fall onto the deflectors; the deflectors then broadcast the seed across the full width of the seeder. The smaller rear roller, with its notches splitting the middle of the front indentations, squeezes soil around the seed for the ultimate in seed to soil contact and consistent seed placement.

WHY RISK IT?
Grass seed is a very expensive commodity. Because of Brillion’s precision placement of seeds, seeding rates can often be cut to nearly half of the rates previously used. In many cases, the savings in seed alone will pay for a Sure Stand Seeder in just a short time. Don’t risk your crop to another system. Don’t settle for less. SMALL AG SERIES
The Small Ag Series is available in 4′, 5′ and 6′ sizes. Equipped with both a micro-meter and blade agitator box as standard equipment, these models will do everything the larger machines can do, only on a much smaller scale. The close-coupled hitch on these models allows use with compact tractors for excellent maneuverability in close quarters. In addition to agricultural applications, these models are often used in food plot environments where another type of tillage tool is already available to properly prepare the seedbed.

The 6′ model can be equipped with a skid steer attachment plate for use with skid steers. The 6′ model also has a front spike roller option for light tillage action in certain conditions. A coil tine track remover is provided as standard equipment on all models. These units may be small in size, but they are big on features.

STANDARD SERIES
The Standard Series Agricultural Seeder is by far the most popular option Brillion offers and is the most versatile of the Ag Seeder line-up. This series has been the industry standard when it comes to planting alfalfa, canola and other grasses. Models are available in 8′, 10′ or 12′ sizes with both three-point hitch and pull-type configurations available. These models are equipped with two seed boxes; the front micro-metered seed box is perfect for seeding smaller type seeds such as alfalfa and the rear agitator box is designed for your larger seeds such as rye grass or brome grass. Many options are available to fine-tune these models to fit the needs of any operation.

MID-SIZE SERIES
The Mid-Size Series Agricultural Seeders from Brillion are similar to the popular Standard Series in concept, sizes available and optional equipment. However, the Mid-Size Series features a larger capacity seed box for better efficiency in the field. Spend less time filling and more time seeding…that’s the advantage of the Mid-Size Series. The micro-meters on these models are placed closer together for added seeding distribution. The rear agitator seed box is not available on the Mid-Size Series.

HIGH CAPACITY SERIES
The High Capacity Series features the largest seeding capacity of all 8′, 10′ and 12′ Brillion Agricultural Seeders. Theses models offer large seed box capacities with narrow micro-meter spacing to provide the ultimate in high efficiency seeding. The large boxes have seed level sight windows, cover latches and gas struts to hold the large covers in the open position for filling. Like the Mid-Size Series, the rear agitator box is not an option for the High Capacity Series.

4610-16 SERIES
The most recent addition to the seeder line-up is the 4610-16 Agricultural Seeder, which takes the popular Sure Stand Seeder to the next level. The 16′ seeding width and 20-bushel capacity front seed box allow the operator to spend more time seeding and less time stopping to fill, maximizing efficiency.

The 16′ seeder is equipped with the proven micro-meter seed metering system on the front box and can seed a variety of seeds at the correct depth to ensure optimal germination. The 16′ seeder also features pneumatic down pressure on the rear roller for better seed coverage and squeezing out more air pockets in the seedbed. The heavy-duty frame to support the larger seed boxes delivers more weight per foot on the rollers. Any soil clods are easily crushed, further fine-tuning the seedbed for excellent germination rates.

The 4610-16 is offered with a rear seed box option for seeding larger sized seeds. This 10 bushel seed box features the blade agitator as standard equipment. The 16′ seeder is available in both three-point hitch and pull-type configurations. Optional equipment includes wheel track removers, a scraper kit for the front roller, and an electronic acre meter or a Brillion Elite Mini Monitor kit.
